Dr. Saldana
He has expertise in high risk pregnancies including gestational diabetes, multiples, hypertension & fetal
growth restriction, amniocentesis and diagnostic cordocentesis. He joins us with decades of distinguished hospital
and academic appointments. Most recently, he was director of OB Ultrasound at the University Hospital at Universityof
Cincinnati campus for 3 years and was involved in teaching OB Ultrasound to Maternal Fetal Medicine fellows, and
OB/GYN and Radiology residents. He was a faculty member of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati
Medical Center and Member, Fetal Care Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Dr. Saldana was director of Maternal
Fetal Medicine at Bethesda Hospital for 22 years. He also served as director of the Bethesda OB/ GYN Residency for
4 years. He held a position as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of OB/GYN at the University of
Cincinnati Medical Center concomitant with his entire tenure at Bethesda Hospital. Prior to joining Bethesda Hospital,
Dr. Saldana was director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Associate Professor, University of Texas Medical School in
Houston. Dr. Saldana began his academic career at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York, where he
was director of the Obstetrics service at Jacobi Hospital and faculty member in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Saldana shares his practice vision saying...

each pregnancy is a healthy mom and baby which is carefully nurtured by developing a clear plan for each delivery
with appropriate follow up."
Dr. Bombrys
She completed her Fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati where she was
mentored by Dr. Baha Sibai, a world renowned expert in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and medical complications
of pregnancy. During her training, Dr. Bombrys published research in the areas of preeclampsia and fetal therapy.
Aside from her publications, Dr. Bombrys' research has been presented at international conferences and received
several awards. Her focus is medical complications of pregnancy including preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor.
Dr. Bombrys has a special interest in prenatal diagnosis including prenatal counseling, amniocentesis, cordocentesis,
and intrauterine transfusion. Having completed her residency at Grandview/ Southview Medical Centers, Dr. Bombrys and
her family are excited to return to Dayton and the Kettering Health Network.

obstetrician and relieve concerns while meeting pregnancy expectations."
